"Poor economy" refers to the consumption behavior of consumers pursuing price discounts when the economic environment is poor. Consumers have shifted from "showing off their wealth" to "showing off their poverty". They are not only proud of being poor, but more importantly, they are showing off that they have bought the most cost-effective goods at the lowest cost.

✔️Poor supermarket: German supermarket Aldi uses a low-price strategy to expand globally and provide affordable products to attract consumers.
