IBES and VERN'University, Croatia are now offering Dual Awards for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)! The mode of delivery is either fully online or blended learning where some face to face classes are conducted at IBES centres outside France. For the Hong Kong Center, these programmes are delivered fully online.
VERN' University is an international, open, creative, entrepreneurial university from Zagreb, Croatia. For the last 20 years, VERN' University has been a leading private university in Croatia and the region that currently offers 10 bachelor and 7 graduate programs. International mobility is an important factor at VERN' University. Both students and staff members are encouraged to take part in mobility activities, programs and work on projects, and VERN' is a host to a number of students from around Europe and the globe.
The DBA has a total of 120 ECT credits and comprises of 5 regular modules at 10 ECT credits each and a Thesis at 70 credits. The modules are:
The DBA regular modules are assessed through coursework, assignments and/or work based reports. The Thesis shall be between 20,000 and 30,000 words.
Students can opt for a more extensive 'Thesis only' route (120 ECT credits). Student must undertake a Research Methodology module prior to commencing their thesis research or be exempted from it should students have already undertaken a similar or equivalent Research Methodology module prior to enrolling on to the programme.
Following the Research Methodology module, students have to submit a Thesis Proposal, and a supervisor will be assigned to a student who, under the guidance of the supervisor, shall continue to work towards completing the Final Thesis of around 40,000 - 45,000 words.
Upon successful completion of all required modules / components, the thesis and the oral defense, students will gain a dual award and be awarded a DBA from IBES as well as VERN.
Upon receiving all documents, the application will be processed and reviewed within one week.
