The Dual Award Programme
The Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM), Spain and Institut Brittany d'Enseignement Supérieur (IBES), France are now offering Dual Awards for Master of Education. The mode of delivery is either fully online or blended learning where some face to face classes are conducted at IBES centres outside France. For the Hong Kong Center, these programmes are delivered fully online.

Degree Specialisations
The Master of Education (M.Ed.) programme provides training in subjects related to educational institutions key operations and policies management. The interdisciplinary curriculum emphasizes pedagogy, curriculum design, behaviour management, business improvement and development for educational institutions.
Student can choose any one of the following specialisations, and with the following award to be conferred:
- Master of Education
- Master of Education (Adult Literacy)
- Master of Education (Child Development)
- Master of Education (Project Management)
- Master of Education (Teaching and Learning Online)
- Master of Education (Instructional Design)
- Master of Education (Leadership and Management)
Programme Structure
The M.Ed. has a total of 90 ECTS credits and comprises of 6 regular modules at 10 ECTS credits each and a Work-based Project at 30 ECTS credits.
The modules are:
- Digital Leadership in Education
- Educational Leadership and Management
- Instructional Leadership and Management
- Strategic Management and Leading Change
- Organisational Culture and School Improvement
- Research in Educational Leadership and Management
- Work-based Learning Project (must relate to the chosen specialization)
Students should use a range of quantitative and qualitative methods for providing information and evaluating options, and will need to demonstrate an in-depth critical understanding of the chosen aspect of education and management problem solving and decision-making skills and techniques.
Assessments
100% of the assessment is through coursework and assignments for the regular
modules.
The final Work-based Capstone Project on the specialisation has a word count
of between 12,000 and 15,000 words.

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree qualification in any subject from a recognised institution; or
- A professional qualification equivalent to a degree and a minimum of two years of working experience; and
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. Those who have undertaken either an undergraduate or professional qualification taught and assessed in English will also be accepted as having met the English proficiency requirement.
